The day before Kristen's 6^th Birthday Kristen celebrated a "special girl's day" with her friend Allison who turned 7 on August 15^th. Megan (pictured on the far right) is Allison's 4 year old sister who helped Kristen and Allison celebrate their birthdays. We started the day by going to a salon where the girls got a manicure that consisted of a special starburst design painted on each nail and then we all went to Red Robin for lunch where the staff sung "Happy Birthday." After lunch we went to the "Build a Bear" store in the Galleria shopping mall where each girl picked out a cute dog that was stuffed to their liking, but not before they each picked out a red satin heart that was sealed with a kiss and a special wish before it was inserted into each dog. After the dogs were sewn up, Kristen, Allison and Megan picked out clothes and accessories for their new furry friends. At last, they chose names for their dogs and then created birth certificates. Before leaving the store, the staff put Kristen and Allison on top of the front counter and the other customers clapped while the staff sang "Happy Birthday." It was a fun day!
