We have an annual Air Show at the local "Spirit of St. Louis" airport in Chesterfield, MO.
This year, we decided to go to the air show, however we have two small children, so we didn't want to get too close in case we needed to leave quickly.
This turned out to be a good plan.

We were able to go to a parking lot of a nearby shopping center for a short time. This was at the end of the runway (about 1/2 mile up), so it worked well to watch the show from there.
One Blue Angel "buzzed" us as soon as we got out of the car. I thought it was cool.
My youngest daughter, Rachel, got in a fetal position. Regardless, we came back for a second day.
Lisa and Rachel went shopping the second day.

The first day I shot pictures without thinking as much about the situation. The second day I brought my Circular Polarizer with me, and I had a better idea of how to shoot the pictures.
